Ekiti College Celebrates 2024 Christmas Carol in Grand Style

It was a moment of joy and jubilation as Management and Staff of Ekiti State College Of Health Sciences And Technology, Ijero-Ekiti gathered to Celebrate the 2024 Christmas Carol.

During the Carol service held at the Omowumi Ogunlola Hall at the premises of the College, the management and members of staff sang and danced to appreciate God for sparing their lives to witness another Christmas celebration.

The service featured rendition of various Christmas congregational hymns, presentations by management, staff of provost’s office, various departments and special prayers.

in a short sermon, the Registrar of the College, Mrs Caroline Ogunsakin urged people to celebrate Christmas with modesty and let the teachings of the season reflect in their lives.

Mrs. Ogunsakin also advised members of staff and Students of the institution to be more closer to God in order to enjoy His blessings and grace.

In her remarks, the Provost, Ekiti State College Of Health Sciences And Technology, Ijero-Ekiti, Dr. Cecilia Adebayo said the Carol service is an annual event to sing praises to Jesus Christ who is the reason for celebrating Christmas.

Dr Cecilia Adebayo stressed the need for people to always praise and appreciate God, as such attracts more blessing from God, saying that necesitated the annual Christmas Carol.

She stated that the College witnessed tremendous growth this year in the areas of infrastructure, human development and increase in subvention, while appreciating Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji for his support for the institution.

The Provost however called for the cooperation of staffers as the college prepares to be converted to a Polytechnic.
