Ekiti 2022: ZLP debunks adopting any candidate

Zenith Labour Party, ZLP, in Ekiti State has denied adopting any candidate ahead of the June 18th Ekiti governorship election.

Addressing Newsmen in Ado-Ekiti, on Tuesday, state chairman of the party, Mallam Jimoh Saheed, described the report as mere fabrication noting that the party’s concern is how to win the election.

His words: “The concern of the party is how to win the coming election. The governorship candidate of the party, Mr Adeolu Akinyemi will make a press conference at the the appropriate time when the need arise.

“I enjoy the public to disregard any news that does not emanate from the party chairman in the state.

“I thank the party faithful for their support at all time while calling on Ekiti poeple to vote for ZLP in Ekiti state and it’s candidate in the coming election.”

The party boss, Mallam Saheed congratulated the party candidates in the just concluded primary election in the state House of Assembly, House of Representative and the Senate in Ekiti-South Senatorial District, Dr Kehinde Tope Abayomi and Ekiti-North, Ipinlaye Kolade Ayodele .
