Eid-el-Kabir: Ekiti ASSUS celebrates Muslims

… urges them to show love to the vulnerable

The Academic Staff Union of Secondary Schools, ASUSS, Ekiti State Chapter has rejoiced with the Muslim faithful, most especially teachers on the occasion of 2023 Eid-el-Kabir.

This is contained in a message signed by the State Chairman, Comrade Sola Adigun, and the State Secretary, Comrade Adeola Augustine.

The statement reminds adherents of the Islamic faith that the lessons of the Eid-el-Kabir, which harps on the need for sacrifice, love, and deep spiritual consciousness, should be displayed at all times.

It describes obedience to the Almighty Allah as a virtue that all citizens must hold dear in their collective efforts of building a united and progressive nation.

ASUSS also advises the Muslim faithful to keep showing love to the most vulnerable members of the society, adding that, “we need one another to build a prosperous country.”

ASUSS leadership charges teachers to remain committed to the transformation of Secondary Education in the state as indispensable partners in implementing the education policies of the Biodun Oyebanji-led administration.
