Eid-el-Fitr: LCDA Chairman salutes Muslims, harps on peace, unity

As Nigerian Muslims join their counterparts across the world to celebrate this year’s Eid-El-Fitr marking the end of the Ramadan, the Acting Chairman of Kajola Local Council Development Area Chief Ajayi Ojo-Adebayo aka Abass has urged Nigerians to embrace the virtues of love, tolerance and perseverance.

The Kajola Council Boss in his Eid-el-fitr message at Ijesa-Isu-Ekiti congratulated Muslim faithful on the successful completion of Ramadan, adding that the inherent benefits from the spiritual rebirth offered by the fast are enormous and compelling.

Chief Adebayo stressed the need for all Nigerians to be prayerful and continue to live in peace and harmony, as people of one nation under God bound in freedom, peace and unity.

He also called on Muslims to use the celebration to pray for Governor Biodun Oyebanji and other members of his cabinet for good work to continue in the state.

Chief Adebayo therefore, wished Nigerians a pleasant celebration, urging Muslims to remain committed to the core values of peace, love, unity, patience, tolerance, perseverance and sacrifice as exemplified by the Holy Prophet Muhammad.
