EFCC invites Ex Humanitarian Minister over alleged laundering

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFFCC) has invited the Former Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Sadiya Umar-Farouk, to be interrogated on the allegedly laundered during her tenure.

ROUNDOFFNEWS gathered that Umar-Farouq arrived at the EFCC headquarters to respond to the anti-graft agency’s invitation, providing clarifications related to matters under investigation by the Commission.

She said, “I remain proud to have served my country as a minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria with every sense of responsibility and will defend my actions, stewardship, and programmes during my tenure whenever I am called upon to do so.”
