Disbursed 5 billion: Those who voted you, didn’t vote you deserve equal treatment – Sen. Shehu tells Govs

By Udesinanna Stephen

Following the disbursement of 5 billion naira for each state by President Bola Tinubu, one-time Senate Representative of Kaduna Central, Senator Shehu Sani, has said Governors should maintain equality with those who voted for them and those who did not.

Shehu said this recently while commenting on the monetary matter via his Twitter handle @Shehu Sani.

He said, “N5 billion as palliatives to the states; There are people who voted for the Governors. There are people who voted for other candidates. Equity demands that the latter be treated equally.”

Also, he questioned the division of the money in Lagos and Kano considering their population, saying that “I want to know how Lagos and Kano will share their own.”
