Disability Group Solicits Ekiti Governor’s Support

…seek appointment as S.A on Disabled Matters

A Non-Governmental Organization, Renewed Life Foundation for the Disabled People, RELFODIP, has solicited the support of Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, in addressing the plight of Persons Living with Disabilities.

The group made the disclosure in a statement in Ado-Ekiti, jointly signed by the President and General Secretary, Oyewole Oluwafemi Oluwayose and Adedokun respectively.

According to them, governor Oyebanji will deliver good governance and dividends of democracy to the people at the grassroot adding that there will be prompt payment of wages and salaries, infrastructural development etc.

While calling on residents of the state to endure with the administration, they went further to seek the support of well-meaning individuals, stakeholders and NGOs.

The statement read in part: “We request the incoming Governor (administration) to give us the maximum support in terms of finance, job opportunities and appointment (Special Assistant) to the governor on disabled matters. This will indicate that wr disabled are well reckoned with and are fully involved in this government.

“I will sincerely imploy the good people of Ekiti State to endure with the government and allow him to deliver good governance to the masses. We call on many philanthropists, government and other NGOs to support our organization morally and financially.”
