The United States,US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken has stated that a democratic and peaceful Nigeria is important to the United States.
The Secretary made this statement lately while canvassing with the President -Elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu via a telephone conversation which was instigated to foster healthy relationship between Nigeria and the United States.
He said, “I promise to play my part in bringing a sustained and cordial relationship between the two nations to fruition, as a democratic and peaceful Nigeria is important to the United States as it is to Africa.”
Also, during the course of the conversation, the President -Elect pledged to collaborate with the United States to foster healthy and positive relationship with her for the sake of unifying the Country upon his assumption of Office on May 29th.
