Following issues of ethnic tension ahead Lagos State Gubernatorial Poll, Lawyer and Civil Rights Activists, Dele Farotimi has urged Nigerians to face the main issue that is affecting the country’s development rather than play tribalism.

He mentioned this today during an interactive session with newsmen, where he pegged the ethnic political issues going on in Lagos on desperation and lost of piority.

In his words,”The political tribalism going on in Lagos is a problem of desperation. The real issue is about the collapsing state and structure, it is not about Ndigbo.

“Let us talk about the main issue instead of pointing out the tribal differences as there are many issues in Nigeria that need our attention not this tribalism battle.”

Also, speaking on the forthcoming Gubernatorial Elections in line with voters’ responsiveness and leadership choice, he stated that the people will ultimately bear the responsibility for their choice of leader.
