Dangote Petroleum Refinery has declared that the ex-depot price of its premium motor spirit (PMS), also referred to as gasoline, has been lowered to ₦899.50 per liter.

This was announced in a statement released on Thursday by Anthony Chiejina, the Dangote Group’s Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer.

“In order to give Nigerians much-needed relief before the holiday season, Dangote Petroleum Refinery has lowered the price of its Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) product to less than ₦900 per liter,” Chiejina said.

The price was previously lowered to ₦970 per litre on November 24 by the privately owned refinery, which is the first of its kind in Africa. In an effort to reduce transportation expenses during the holiday season, a new price adjustment has been implemented.

Along with the price cut, the refinery is now offering customers a special deal. With a bank guarantee from Access Bank, First Bank, or Zenith Bank, customers will be able to purchase an extra liter of gasoline on credit for each liter of gasoline paid for with cash.

Chiejina highlighted the refinery’s commitment to offering premium petroleum products to Nigerians at affordable costs while making sure they are engine-friendly and healthy for the environment.Additionally, he emphasized how the refinery’s operations had a major impact on the Nigerian market, ending the nation’s role as a depot for inferior and blended imported fuel products.

These inferior imports have previously posed risks to human health, the environment, and machinery.Dangote Refinery has demonstrated its commitment to easing the financial burden on Nigerians during the holidays while setting new standards for service and product quality by reducing gas prices and implementing innovative customer incentives.
