COURT REMANDS TWO OVER ALLEGED KILLING OF SUSPECTED COMMERCIAL SEX WORKER IN EKITI

A magistrate’s court sitting in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, has ordered the remand of two men, Saviour Daniel (25) and David Isaiah (25), in prison over the alleged murder of one Comfort James, a suspected commercial sex worker.

The prosecutor, Inspector Olubu Apata, informed the court that there was probable cause to remand the defendants in custody as they were reasonably suspected to have committed the crimes of conspiracy to murder and murder of Comfort James.

The Magistrate, K O Awosika, ordered the remand of the defendants and adjourned to March 21.
