COUNCIL BOSS DONATES MOTORCYCLES, WORKING TOOLS TO SECURITY OUTFITS IN EKITI

To boost the performances of security agents in Ise Orun local government, the Council Chairman, Mr Ayodele Akinluyi has donated Motorcycles, car tyres,rain boots and raincoats to selected security personnel in the council areas.

Donating the equipments, Chairman, Ise Orun-Orun Local Government, Mr Akinluyi said the gesture was to complement the efforts of the state government and encourage the security personnels to fight crime.

Mr Akinluyi explained that every serious government must prioritize the security of lives and property of it citizens, adding that his administration was leaving no stone unturned at ensuring such.

He expressed the view that the equipment would further strengthen security and intelligence gathering in the council.

Mr Akinluyi charged the recipients to maintain the gadgets and used them for the purpose meant for, promising more as soon as the finances of the Council improves.

The Chairman Emure, Ise Orun and Ikere Joint Security Committee, Elder Tunji Falana lauded the chairman for the gesture, saying it would assist the security agents to deliver optimally

Elder Falana advised others residents of the local governments to emulate such, noting that there is for everyone to see security as their responsibility.

Elder Falana urged security officers including Amotekun to up their game in the interest of the citizens adding that security of life and property should be accorded due attention.

Responding on behalf of the benefiting security outfits, the Divisional Police Officer of the area, Mr Ezekiel Adekoye thanked the chairman for placing priority on the safety of the people and promised to utilize the equipment for the purpose meant for.

The agencies which got the items included, Nigeria Police Force, Amotekun corps, Ekiti Peace Corp and the Vigilante group.
