In the spirit of the celebration of Christmas, and marking his birthday, a philanthropist and Founder, Prince Adeyinka Alli Foundation, PAAF, Prince Adeyinka Alli, has put smiles on the faces of the downtrodden in the society as he distributed assorted items such as rice, cooking ingredients, soft drinks, among others to them.

The beneficiaries were destitutes living at Okobaba, Ebute Emetta in Lagos, which is a hub for less-privileged stay.

Prince Alli who was a gubernatorial candidate of the Action People’s Party,APP, in the last governorship election in Ekiti, said since Christmas is the season of love, and as it is said that Jesus is love, Jesus radiates in love and gives all through,he deemed it appropriate to celebrate with such group of people in the society.”And because it is a period of celebrating Jesus Christ, and by the characteristics of Jesus, we know he is always giving. So, in the same spirit too,we took love to the destitute home at Okobaba,in Ebute Emetta, in Lagos.

“Coincidentally,it is my own birthday too. It is my day of joy. And looking at my day of joy, where is a better place than take joy to make more people smile and celebrate with me”.

The former governorship candidate and Founder of PAAF said he had been celebrating his birthday with friends, family, and with all and sundry, but this time decided he would share his joy, happy day with people, put smiles on faces too, make people happy, both the old,the young, the handicapped, the leper, the crippled, and other categories. “All were there gathered, I decided to spend my day with them and share the Joy with them. So that was the exact thing that we did today in the spirit of celebrating Christmas, celebrating my birthday too”.

Prince Alli prayed that the new year 2023 will usher in abundance for Nigerians and usher in fresh air for all Nigerians.

Some of the destitute, Abdullah Gachi, Kamal Aliyu and Alimah Muhammad appreciated Prince Alli for his gesture, and prayed that God continues to sustain him and replenish his purse.
