The founder of Prince Adeyinka Alli Foundation (PAAF), Prince Adeyinka Alli has donated food items to residents of Ekiti state, as part of his efforts of reaching out to the vulnerable in this festive period.
The donation program named “PAAF Founder’s Cookout” has been on the lookout for the less privileged by putting smiles on their faces, as part of his solo efforts for the sustainability of food security in the state.
While making the donation in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State chapter, he noted that the gesture was not in any form to ridicule the state or wellbeing of Ekiti indigenes but to commomerate his birthday which is slated for Dec. 21.
Prince Alli added that his birthday, which matches that of the state governor, Biodun Oyebanji has fueled his passion to helping people, just as the state governor is performing towards ensuring his shared prosperity agenda.
His words, “I thank God for giving me this opportunity to do this. There are a lot of people who wants to do the same but can’t due to some circumstances.
“This gesture does not generate any ridicule from my side, I see everybody as equal. The high point of it is that I am using this to commemorate my birthday which also matches that of our state governor.
“So, I said to myself, if my birthdate mate who happens to be the governor of my state is performing all these, why can’t I also do same in my own quarters?”
The food items include bags of rice, Garri, soft drinks, among others.
