In Sunday’s Premier League match against Arsenal at Stamford Bridge, Pedro Neto saved Chelsea by scoring the equalizer for the Blues. Gabriel Martinelli had given the Gunners the lead ten minutes earlier, but Neto’s booming goal in the 70th minute nullified it.

The team benefited from the return of Martin Ødegaard, the captain of Arsenal, to the squad following a protracted injury. He used his keen vision and accurate passing to lift the ball to Martinelli at the back post.

The Brazilian attacker put his team ahead after controlling the ball for a while and then slipping it past Sanchez into a tight corner. After gaining possession of the ball, World Cup winner Enzo Fernández passed it to Neto, who fired a shot past David Raya, the goalkeeper for Arsenal.

The video assistant referee disallowed Kai Havertz’s goal in the 32nd minute of play after checking the former Chelsea player. Additionally, VAR declared Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson’s goal in the 75th minute to be offside.

When Trossard failed to score the goal that would have given his team a spot ahead of the hosts in stoppage time, the Gunners lost a great chance. With five victories, four draws, and two defeats, both teams currently have 19 points.
