…as Governor Oyebanji promises more appointments
Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji has administered the oath of office on the newly appointed board members.
Among the members were a lawmaker who represented Ilejemeje Constituncy at the Ekiti State House of Assemby, Chief Cecilia Dada.
The boards and commissions include State Local Government Service Commission, House of Assembly Service Commission and Audit Service Commission, held at the government house pavilion, Ado Ekiti.
Addressing the appointees, Governor Biodun Oyebanji promised to conclude all appointments in his government before the end of this year.
He said the process of appointing people into various positions was a little bit delayed so as to ensure that capable hands are selected and that every part of the state is equally represented in the government.
The Governor congratulated the appointees for the opportunity to serve Ekiti, urging them to justify the confidence reposed in them as he reminded them that they were carefully selected for the tasks based on their experience and pedigree in the public service.
He was impressed about their achievement as they shared the same dream to see Ekiti attaining a great height, charging them to hit the ground running immediately and to have their work plans ready as soon as possible.
The governor equally enjoined the new appointees to displaying commitment, compassion, professonalism while contributing their quotas to the development drive of the present administration.
Speaking on behalf of the appointees, Chief Cecilia Dada appreciated the Governor for giving them the opportunity, with a promise that the would deliver on the mandate given to them to serve the state.
