Buhari Not Traveling to Anambra to Commission 2nd Niger Bridge

President Muhammadu Buhari will not travel to Anambra for the commissioning of the Second Niger Bridge scheduled to hold today.

The Punch gathered that, “according to sources in the Ministry of works who do not want to be mentioned in print, the N336 billion bridge, regarded as a legacy project, will be commissioned alongside six other road projects by the president via an online platform, Zoom.”

President Buhari has proposed to construct the second Niger Bridge although, the Second Niger Bridge was first proposed during the 1978/79 political campaign by then-candidate Shehu Shagari of the National Party of Nigeria.
