BE FOCUSED, DISCIPLINED- FALEGAN ADVISES CHILDREN

The Founder of Opeyemi David Falegan (ODF), Hon. Opeyemi David Falegan earlier today advised children in the state to be focused, disciplined and shun all forms of social vices, in order to make their parents and the country proud.

The Founder said this through his Media aide Comrade Adewumi Francis, made available to the journalists in Ado Ekiti.

Falegan gave the advice on the 2024 National Children’s Day celebration.

The Founder, thanked God on behalf of Ekiti children for keeping them alive and healthy to witness another Children’s Day.

He prayed that, God should continue to keep the children, while advising them to do their best, shun all forms of social vices and be disciplined.

ODF urged the children to study very hard so as to become great personalities in life, make their parents and the state proud.

He challenged parents to train their children to have the fear of the Lord, to enable them have great reward.

According to him, children’s day was first celebrated in Nigeria in 1964, raising awareness for issues that affect children and to appreciate the fact that they are the future of our societies.

Falegan stressed that all children, irrespective of their status or situation, should enjoy their rights to survival and development as enshrined in the Child Rights Act (CRA 2003).
