Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, had expressed sorrow regarding the passing of Nigerian Ambassador to France, Kayode Laro.
Atiku shared his sentiments on this matter through his official Twitter account.
“The loss of Ambassador Kayode Laro is a significant blow to Nigeria’s diplomatic community. He was among the most seasoned and skilled individuals in the Nigerian Foreign Service. Filling the gap he leaves as France’s Ambassador will be a challenge, especially during these times when diplomacy is vital for maintaining peace within our borders and with our neighboring nations. May his soul rest in peace,” he wrote.
