…seeks government’s pronouncement on new minimum wage
…congratulates Head of Service, Dr. Olomojobi
The Vice President, Southwest Zone of the Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria (ASCSN). Comrade Odunayo Adedayo Adesoye has commended Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji for his various policies and programmes aimed at enhancing the well-being of workers across the state.
The renowned unionist also appreciated the Governor for the choice of Dr. FolakemiOlomojobi as the Head of Service describing the appointment as thoughtful.
Adesoye in a statement in Ado Ekiti, noted that the Association is happy with the current pattern with which the Governor is attending to workers’ need among which are, regular payment of salaries and outstanding benefits, uninterrupted promotion and implementation of outstanding promotions, provision of shuttle busses, payment of CONHESS and hazard allowances to health workers just to mention but a few.
He said the union would continue to collaborate with the Governor towards doing more for workers in the state.
Adesoye however urged Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji to make a statement regarding the just approved minimum wage so as to douse the tension among workers and put an end to various speculations.
The former TUC Chairman congratulated the Head of Service, Dr. Folakemi Olomojobi and wish her success in office.
According to Adesoye, Dr. Olomojobi is a thoroughbred professional, and an astute administrator whose experience and expertise would translate to effective and radical transformation of the civil service
