…as daughter of immediate past deputy governor becomes deputy speaker
The lawmaker representing Ikole Constituncy 2 , Mr Steven Aribasoyo has been elected as the speaker of the Ekiti State 7th House of Assembly.
Aribasoyo was nominated by Femi Akindele Irepodun Ifelodun Constituncy One and was unanimously accepted by other members of the house during the first plenary session held at the assembly chamber, Ado Ekiti.
The session was initially presided over by the clerk of the house, Tola Esan before the speaker officially took over.
Also the lawmaker representing, Ado constituency two, Bolaji Olagbaju, who is the daughter of the immediate past deputy governor of Ekiti State, Late Bisi Egbeyemi, unanimously elected as the deputy speaker of the house.
