….congratulates Ekiti Governor, Senate Leader, Oluyin of Iyin Ekiti
The Chairman of Araromi Local Council Development Area in Iyin Ekiti, Chief Adewale Alade has appreciated President Bola Tinubu for assenting to the bill establishing the Federal University of Technology and Environmental Sciences, Iyin Ekiti.
The Senate had passed the bill for the establishment of the University sponsored by Senate Leader, Senator Opeyemi Bamidele in 2023 and 2024—before securing concurrence from the House of Representatives and eventual presidential approval.
In a statement in Iyin Ekiti, the Chairman affirmed that the university would enhance the growth and development of the town and as well create job opportunities for youths.
He commended the Senate Leader, Senator Opeyemi Bamidele who is also from the town for the efforts to facilitate good things to his country home, describing him as a blessing to Ekiti and Nigeria at large.
Chief Alade also congratulated Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji for been part of history, saying it is a thing of joy that good things are happenings
during his time.
Alade equally congratulated the Oluyin of Iyin Ekiti, Oba Ajakaye, the Oluyin in council and all residents of Araromi LCDA.
Alade said: Iyin Ekiti has been bubbling since the news filtered in, we have longed for this opportunity but we thank God that our prayers have been answered.
“We thank God for the life of our own who has been used by God to facilitate the University, Hon. Oreyemi Bamidele, he is a blessing to us in this town.
