…seeks more support for Governor Oyebanji
A Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress in Emure Ekiti, Prince Oluwatosin Adedayo has congratulated the paramount ruler of Emure Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Emmanuel Adebowale Adebayo on the celebration of this year’s new yam festival coming up on the 2nd of next month.
In a statement in Emure Ekiti, Prince Adedayo known as Wacko called on sons and daughters of the town, home and abroad to give necessary support to the monarch in order to have a beautiful ceremony.
According to him, the yam festival is celebrated annually in the town to symbolize the rightful time for the king and some prominent Chiefs to eat new yam.
The APC Chieftain who prayed God to continue to grant the royal father and members of Elemure in Council long life in good and sound health said the support of illustrious indigenes of the town would make the yam festival colourful.
Prince Adebayo commended the contributions of the paramount ruler towards the socio cultural and economy development in Emure Ekiti, saying his tenure had witnessed many developmental projects.
He therefore urged residents of the state not to relent in their support for present administration led by Governor Biodun Oyebanji so as to enjoy more dividends of good governance.
