Allegedly Kidnapper Apprehended While Attempting To Collect Ransom

The Adamawa State Police Command has apprehended a 32-year-old suspected kidnapper, Roland Raymond for the offense of criminal terrorization associated with Kidnapping.

Following a report by Alhaji Yahya Congo and Abraham Paul, who stated that the suspect who is a resident of Detti village, Ganye LGA called them via phone and demanded the sum of 600,000 naria under threat of kidnapping.

In collaboration with hunters, the police in Ganye Division swiftly mobilized and arrested the suspect at the point of exchange of the demanded money upon receiving the complaints.

Verifying the apprehension, the spokesperson of the command said the suspect would be indicted in Court after an investigation.
