Alafao In Council Reprimands Hon.Tope Omosilade Over Alleged Attack on Community Leader

Report reaching roundoffnews.com says the traditional ruler of Afao Ekiti Oba Ajibare Ademilua and his chiefs on Monday, September 11, 2023 queried Mr. Tope Omosilade over his alleged utterances and verbal attack on a top APC chieftain and an Afao community leader, Chief. Kayode Akinyemi.

Oba Ajibare Ademilua was quoted to have warned him to desist from such immoral act adding that he would still be re-invited on another date when decision of the Alafao-in-council will be made known.

Mr. Tope Omosilade, who is serving as a Supervising Councillor for the Ifedara LCDA, was alleged to have verbally confronted Chief Akinyemi, suggesting that the attack Chief Akinyemi survived in 2014 would be minor compared to what he intends to do this time.

Furthermore, Mr. Tope Omosilade is also under scrutiny for openly discrediting the two councilorship aspirants in the area, Mr. Adeosun Ojo and Mr. Dele Ogunsemi.

The leadership of the APC in Afao ward led by its chairman, Mr. Oke Adejorin had also decried the anti-party activities of Mr. Tope Omosilade, saying that, Omosilade was the one destroying the party in Afao ward for his selfish interest.

A group of youths from the community have also warned Mr. Omosilade to cease his treacherous actions, as the community cannot afford to lose Chief Akinyemi or any other distinguished sons and daughters to Omosilade’s schemes.

All efforts to speak with Mr. Omosilade to get his reactuin was unsuccessful.
