3 SUSPECTED BURGLARS ARRESTED IN EKITI

Three young men who specialize in burgling houses and removing car batteries have been arrested by officers of the Vigilante Corpse in Ekiti State.

The suspected gang was said to be led by one Sunday who was among those arrested.

In a statement made available on social media, the Commander of Vigilante Corps in Ekiti, Mr. Akin Olounloni confirmed that the suspects were arrested following a tip off by some members of the public.

He noted that the suspects have been handed over to the Rapid Response Squad, Ekiti State Police Command for further investigation.

According to him, the command’s officers are on the trail of other members of the gang who are currently at large.
