25% in Abuja: Opposition creating “weird” interpretations of Tinubu’s statement – Keyamo

By Udesinanna Stephen

Amid controversies surrounding President Bola Tinubu’s statement that anarchy will befall if he is disqualified for not getting 25% in Abuja during the 2023 election, the Spokesperson to the All Progressive Congress, APC Presidential Council, Festus Keyamo has lashed opposition for dragging Tinubu, saying that they are making conspiracy” theories and “weird” interpretations to the statement.

Keyamo said this lately on his Twitter account @fkeyamo, adding that “they are losing their minds.”

According to him, the opposition Parties should wait for the Court instead of making “conspiracy” theories and “weird” interpretations of the statement.

In his words, “Instead of waiting calmly for the judiciary to perform its constitutional role in the electoral process, these sore losers have unleashed their emotions all over the place; their cretins and minions have conjured all kinds of conspiracy theories and weird interpretations to simple things – from imaginary phone calls between certain individuals to warped understanding of Final Addresses.”

Also, Keyamo said the projected re-run echoed by the opposition is false, adding that “nothing has been decided in that regard.”

Also, he said, “I am sorry to note that it appears they are losing their minds. I never imagined just one loss of an election could send some characters’ tails spinning into depression.

“As opposition members, we lost several elections, but instead of engaging in these inanities, what we did was to respect the sanctity of the judiciary and to regroup for future elections. That was the mentality of Tinubu, as leader of the Opposition, and today he is President.” He noted.
