2023: Lagos Tribunal Commences Hearing Of Opposition Petition

…as Apc Sets Legal Team for Defense

The Lagos State National and State House of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal has commenced the hearing of 8 petitions on the 2023 elections held on Feb 25th and March 11.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and it’s Gubernatorial candidate, Abdul-Azeez Adediran filed its application, and the Labour Party (LP) Gubernatorial candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour filed as a single petitioner.

Others are the Allied People’s Movement (APM) and the Action People’s Party (APP).

Meanwhile, the ruling All Progressive Congress Candidate, Governor Sanwo Olu who emerged winner of the Lagos state Gubernatorial poll has set up his legal team comprising of 4 Senior Advocates of Nigeria and several other lawyers to defend his emergence.
