2023: Kewulere Advocates Unity of Purpose Among Yoruba Race

…wants Ekiti State Governor to fulfil campaign promises

The President General league of Imam and Alfas in South West including Edo and Delta states, Sheikh Jamiu Kewulere has called for unity of purpose among Yoruba race as 2023 elections draws closer.

The islamic cleric who is also the Chief Imam of Ekiti State made the call while speaking on 2023 election and need for Yoruba race to vote for credible leaders.

Sheikh Kewulere urged indigenes of southwest to form a common front before, during and after the elections to ensure that those that will give preference to the needs of the zone emerge as leaders of the country.

He appealed to Yoruba leaders to give preference to general interest rather than selfish one and called on religious leaders not to relent in their prayers for the nation.

The Islamic cleric expressed disatisfaction with the insecurity affecting the socio economic growth of the nation and called for proactive measure to solve.

According to him most Nigerians find it difficult to sleep with their two eyes closed.

Sheikh Kewulere used the opportunity to call on the Governor of Ekiti State, Mr Biodun Oyebanji to ensure that he fulfil all his promises during the poll and appreciated him for given Muslims preference in his administration by appointed Dr Habibat Adubiaro as the secretary to th state government.
