AS ASPIRANT PROMISES ROBUST REPRESENTATION
The All Progressives Congress (APC) Primary Election Screening Committee has successfully screened Mr. Dele Philips, a leading aspirant vying for Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 2 seat on the platform of the party.
The frontline business mogul appeared before the screening committee on Sunday in Abuja and made excellent presentations that gave him a pass mark before the committee.
Expressing confidence in the process, Mr. Dele Philips commended the leadership of the party on the conduct of the exercise.
The leading aspirant was optimistic of victory in the forthcoming party’s primary and general elections.
Philips therefore enjoined his supporters to keep the hope alive, saying that his emergence as the candidate and winner in 2023 poll would mark a new dawn in Ekiti West, Efon and Ijero Local Government Areas.
He said he would initiate necessary processes that would attract development in all the communities in the area when he emerges the winner in the general elections.
“I want to reiterate that I will give the people of the constituency unprecedented and quality representation at the National Assembly”, the international business mogul stated.
Philips added that his level of commitment to the socio-economic and political development of the area had been on display, urging delegates in the primary elections to support his ambition to play significant roles in the growth of the area.
Reacting to the development, a Chieftain of the party in the constituency, Aare Ebenezer Adebusuyi said the successful screening signifies that more aggressive mobilisation should be embraced among supporters
Adebusuyi stressed that Mr. Dele Philips remains the most qualified for the party’s ticket, assuring that his personality is capable of winning the general elections, considering his impact on both individuals and communities in recent past.
He analysed the various achievements the aspirant had recorded as a businessman in Nigeria, United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom, adding that various processes are in place to engage the youths for productive programmes.
