Speaking on Tinubu’s emergence as President-Elect, Fayose said that, despite the bully Tinubu faced and social media attack, he succeeded stressing that, the 2023 elections was not rigged.
Although, he said he had not benefited politically from Bola Ahmed Tinubu, “I respect him and I know he has sense to know how he got there and not to disappoint Nigerians.” he added.
However, he reinstated his stance that he will not be a member of the APC, In his words, “I am not a member of the APC and I will never be a member of the APC. I don’t jump from one party to another, at this stage what am I looking for I can’t not become the President of Nigeria”.
Speaking on consequences of Obi leaving the party, the former Governor said, Obi left with PDP vote from the Southeast and Southsouth.
Nevertheless, Fayose appreciated the coming of Obi, “because now there is a lot of consciousness. Everybody now have to seat right, he is the man with the tale wing, Obi did well, they thought he is a joke, he became an hurricane, he became an issue”. He praises.
