1ST ANNIVERSARY: EKITI PARLIAMENT STAFF CONGRATULATES 7TH ASSEMBLY

…says house under Right Hon. Aribasoye did well

The Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria (PASAN), Ekiti State Chapter, has congratulated the State’s 7th Assembly on its one-year anniversary under the leadership of Rt. Hon. Speaker, Barrister Adeoye Stephen Aribasoye.

In a statement made available to Roundoffnews, the Chairman of PASAN Ekiti State Chapter, Dr. Gbenga Oluwajuyigbe and the Secretary, Comrade Adeyemo Aderemi commended the lawmakers for their dedication and commitment to the development of the state.

The statement reads:”We reaffirm our support for their leadership and wish them continued success in their endeavors. May Ekiti State prosper under their guidance,” he said.

“This achievement is a testament to the dedication and hard work of the 7th Assembly, and we are proud to be part of this journey.

“This milestone marks a significant achievement in the history of the Ekiti State Legislature, and we are proud to acknowledge the remarkable progress made by the 7th Assembly.

“Over the past year, the 7th Assembly has demonstrated innovative leadership and a commitment to the betterment of Ekiti State and its citizens. The re-engagement of previously disengaged staff has ensured that experienced and dedicated staff are back to serve the legislature and the state. The filling of the long-vacant position of Deputy Clerk Legal has provided stability and continuity in the legislative process.

“The establishment of the Ekiti State Legislative Staff Loans Board has provided financial support to staff and improved their welfare. The provision of modern office equipment and digital studio has enhanced the efficiency and productivity of the legislature.

“The installation of an e-voting system has promoted transparency and accountability in the legislative process. The inclusion of a retired PASAN member in the House of Assembly Service Commission has ensured that staff interests are represented and protected.
The 7th Assembly has also taken palliative measures to alleviate economic hardship among staff, demonstrating a commitment to staff welfare.

The remodeling of the existing building structures in the Ekiti state legislature will provide a conducive and modern work environment. The organization of a befitting send-off ceremony for the retired Clerk of the House has honored dedication and service to the legislature.
