…acknowledges improved welfare packages for council workers
The leadership of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, NULGE, Ekiti State has acknowledged that the first year in office of Governor Biodun Oyebanji has been very impactful and successful.
The Union in a statement made available to newsmen through its president, Comrade Oluseyi Olatunde affirmed that the Governor had shown rare leadership skills and uncommon compassion for workers in the state particularly council workers.
He congratulated the Governor for the unique celebration and prayed God to grant him the wisdom, knowledge and understanding to consolidate on the achievements recorded so far in the coming years.
Olatunde equally appreciated the Governor for the various Palliative measures rolled out for workers in the state as part of measures to cushion the effect of the fuel subsidy removal a gesture he described as unprecedented.
According to Olatunde, Oyebanji is a courageous and transparent leader who is sincere and passionate in his quest towards the delivery of the promises made to the people of Ekiti State.
He pledged the unalloyed support of his union for Oyebanji’s administration towards ensuring that he deliver more dividends of democracy to people of the state.
