The President of the Court of Appeal, Hon. Justice M. B. Dongban-Mensem, has constituted the Ekiti State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal ahead of Saturday’s election.
This is contained in a public notice signed by the Tribunal Secretary, Mr. Zubairu Nuhu.
According to the notice, proceedings for the tribunal will be held at the National Industrial Court premises within the High Court Complex, opposite Fajuyi Park along Iyin Road in Ado-Ekiti.
The notice added that the Chief Judge of Ekiti State, Hon. Justice Lekan Adekanye Ogunmoye, approved the use of the space for the tribunal.
The notice also stated that the tribunal was constituted in accordance with the 1999 Constitution as amended and the Electoral Act.
Members of the public are advised to contact the Registry/Secretariat of the tribunal at the designated court premises for enquiries.
