JOHESU Chairman, Ajoloko, Condemns Incident, Orders Members to Down Tools
The Chairman, Joint Health Sector Unions, Ekiti State, Comrade Femi Ajoloko, has condemned the assault on a nurse by a patient’s relative.
The incident happened at the Okemesi General Hospital.
Though journalists are yet to ascertain the cause of the attack, the JOHESU Chairman is worried over disrespect for health officials by relatives of patients.
He called on security agents to ensure the arrest of the culprit and prosecute him to serve as a deterrent to others.
At the time of this report, the health workers in the hospital have downed tools and run for their lives on the order of the JOHESU Chairman.
