…commends party leadership for giving Ado Ekiti Deputy Governorship slot
About five hundred members of the ADC, Ado Ekiti Local Government have thrown their support behind the candidate of the party Ambassador Dare Bejide and the Deputy Governorship candidate, Hon. Ayodeji Babatola to achieve success during the forthcoming Governorship election in Ekiti State
The party members including the wards Chairmen, ward women leaders, Youth leaders and local government executive took the decision during the local Government meeting held in Ado Ekiti to strategize ahead of the June 20th Governorship poll.
Speaking during the meeting, ADC Chairman in Ado Ekiti Local Government, Hon. Awolokun Abdullahi appealed to aggrieved members of the party to come together and support the party to be victorious during poll.
The Chairman explained that, if the candidate of the party won during the poll, other members would be given one position or the other, hence the need for necessary support for Ambassador Dare Bejide and Hon Babatola.
He commended the leadership of the party for consider indigene of Ado Ekiti for the Deputy governorship slot, saying such had buried agitation of picking Deputy Governorship candidate from the State capital.
Hon. Awoloku called on party executive and members to go back to their various ward to continue working for the party success.
On her own, the Local Government women leader, Mrs. Folake pius Charged members of the party, especially women to commence house to house campaign for Ambassador Bejide and Hon Babatola HON EMEKA also assure the party members about Adequate security during their Ward meeting and campaign period…..ADC Arise and Shine
