The former Commissioner for Environment in Ekiti State, Chief Tosin Aluko has threatened to institute a criminal law suit against the recently suspended member of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Ado Ekiti ward 2, Yakubu Saka for defaming her.
Yakubu Saka had released a video where he accused Tosin Aluko, the incumbent chairman of Ado Local Government and other party leaders of sponsoring gunmen who shot him in the leg.
Responding to interview with Roundoffnews.com on the telephone, Tosin Aluko said the lawsuit was to defend her integrity and justify her innocence to the world.
Aluko confirmed that she had been inundated with calls from across the world by her family and loved ones who have been embarrassed by the wrong accusation.
The former Commissioner and Council chairman confirmed that she knew nothing about his travail adding that all allegations in the video were false narratives cooked up by the suspended member to curry public sentiment.
She explained that she would do everything to get justice and bring Yakubu Saka to book so as to serve as deterrent to others who are quick to destroy people’s character for selfish gains.
