Report just reaching Roundoffnews.com says a farmer name withheld has mistakenly shot his own son to death with gun in Iye Ekiti, Ilejemeje Local Government Area of Ekiti State.
This incident was confirmed by the Ekiti State Commissioner of Police, CP, Joseph Eribo.
According to the father who has been invited for more questioning, he went to farm with his fifteen year old son to work.
But before then, monkeys have been terrorizing his farm.
While working, he observed a movement on a tree and fires a gun shot believing that it was a monkey only for his son to fall from the tree.
