The Executive Chairman of Ekiti East Local Government Hon. Oluwasegun Samuel Ojo, has felicitated the residents of EELG especially Christian faithful, as they celebrate Christmas.
In a release signed by the council head of information and service Prince Adeola Alex Fafure, Hon. Ojo said “Christmas is an important day of worship and remembrance, because it is a celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the son of God who came to redeem all mankind and call them to himself. On that day, God sent his son to become a man on earth in order that one day he would become the payment for the sins of the world, past, present, and future.”
He said”:”On behalf of the management, Ekìtì East Local Government, I wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year (in advance).”
“It is my prayer on this day that the joy and happiness never seize in your lives as we celebrate. Happy celebration to us all.
