

As Ekiti State and its residents dwell in the bliss of the festive season, some notable citizens of the state in the diaspora under the umbrella of Ekiti Parapo in UK have distributed food items worth several millions of naira to 165 families selected randomly across the 16 Local Government Areas of the State.
The food items were distributed on Monday, through the Divine Motivation for Positive Impact Initiative led by Dr Gbenga Emiloju.
The food packages, which contain rice, beans, semovita, Garri, Vegetable Oil, Salt, among others, were given out by the group led by its President, Olamide Idowu, to celebrate the festive season with vulnerable citizens most especially widows and aged.
In his message which was delivered to the beneficiaries, President of the Ekiti PARAPO in UK, Olamide Idowu said the initiative was to ensure that every family celebrate the Yuletide with joy with a promise to do more.
