Pensioners Association of Nigeria, PAN, Ekiti State Chapter has congratulated Governor Biodun Oyebanji on the celebration of his third anniversary in office, wishing him good health, wisdom and understanding to record more successes.
In a statement in Ado Ekiti, Chairman of the Association, Comrade Joel Akinola and the Secretary, Comrade Charles Ogunlusi affirmed that the last three years of the Governor have been impactful considering the various developmental projects and huge investment in education, health, infrastructure and human capital development.
Akiolnola and Ogunlusi explained that pensioners in the state have not had it so good like this since the creation of Ekiti State, saying the Governor had defrayed all outstanding pension, increases their monthly take-home and paid almost seventy percent of outstanding gratuities.
According to the pensioners, Oyebanji is a God sent to Ekiti, hence he should be supported beyond his first term in office so that he can continue to raise the bar of the state and make it rank among the best.

They gave an assurance that pensioners in the state would continue to support the Governor but urged him not to rest on his oars.
The PAN leaders promised to continue to relate with the government through robust dialogue rather than confrontation so as to get more benefits for pensioners in the state who have entrusted them with the mandate to lead them.
