A leading non-governmental-organisation in Ekiti State, Yemi Osho Foundation has extended its humanitarian assistance to People Living With Disabilities, PLWDs, in the State.
The Foundation donated food items, cash gifts and free health care with drugs to the beneficiaries at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium on Wednesday in Ado-Ekiti.
The event attracted top government functionaries including the Commissioner for Wealth Creation and Employment, Kayode Fasae, Special Adviser to Ekiti State government on Special School and Social Inclusion, Adetoun Agboola.
Others are; Director of Disability Affairs, Akinlabi Adeyemi, High Chief Omotoyinbo the Odoloro of Ado-Ekiti with his entourage, among others.
Other highlights of the event were Health/Wellness Talk by Dr. Tope Adeyeye, Motivational Talk by Comrade Alex, Business Orientation by the Chairman of National Association of Persons with Disabilities, NAPWD, in Ekiti State.
Also, Adeleke Oluwatosin spoke on Talents Development while Peter Ojo delivered his lecture on Sports Development.
Beneficiaries of the Social Security Scheme include; Adetolu Christiana, Physically Challenged Weightlifter, Taiwo Olasunkanmi, Rotawo Olusegun, Ajibola Daniel, Muideen Taiwo, Israel Oladunjoye, Ige Adetayo, Ojo Kemisola, Oluwatoyin Agnes and Damilare Adekunle.
