…seeks assistance of Governor Oyebanji, his wife and good Nigerians
A sixty five year old woman, Mojisola Olarewaju whose two legs were amputated has passionately appealed to Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, his wife, Dr. Olayemi and other well meaning Nigerians to assist her in settling her outstanding medical bills worth over three hundred thousand naira.
This is because the patient has been held back in the hospital and disallowed from going home after she has been officially discharged few months ago.
While Olarewaju sought for help, there is another woman, Abosede Alofe with similar situation with a balance less than hundred thousand naira.
Both patients are currently lying helplessly at the Female Surgical Ward of the Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, Ado Ekiti.
Olarewaju who underwent multiple surgeries that led to the amputation of her two legs confirmed to Roundoffnews.com that life has been difficult for her since the health situation began.
In tear, the Ado Ekiti born trader explained that she had sold all her belongings and the health bills kept piling up on daily basis urging government of Ekiti State to help her out.
Narrating her ordeal, the grandma said she slipped on the floor few years back and had a fracture which resulted in the amputation of her first leg.
She said few months after she was discharged, the second leg began to ache her and while she got to hospital, the case also resulted into another amputation leaving her incapacitated with no leg.
Olarewaju is also pleading for assistance to secure a wheel chair due to her leg condition.

The case of Abosede Alofe is another pathetic one which requires the attention of government and spirited individuals.
Having spent one year in the hospital due to her health condition, the Aramoko Ekiti born trader could not also go home barely two months after she was discharge due to a balance less that one hundred thousand naira.
She confirmed that her landlord had thrown her out due to inability to pay rent.
