…..backs mega endorsement of Oyebanji for Second term
The Director General, Bureau of Local Content, Olalekan Ijidale has affirmed that the Ekiti State Local Content Law has provided a wide range of opportunities for Ekiti youths and domestic manufacturers, thus promoting economic growth.
Addressing journalists in Ado Ekiti, Ijidale explained that many youths have been engaged and taken out of the labour market and made self sufficient through the policy.
According to Ijidale, one of the advantages of the law is the mandatory engagement of forty percent of Ekiti Youths, artisans and traders by contractors for every project carried out within the state.

He explained that the introduction of the law by Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji was thoughtful hence the need for all stakeholders and party faithful to support the second term ambition of the Governor because he truly understands the dynamics of governance.
Ijidale commended the political stakeholders in the state for the forthcoming mega endorsement of the Governor Oyebanji scheduled for the 23rd of July, describing it as a welcome development.
He said the proposed endorsement will send message to naysayers who have failed to see the good things the present government has done that Oyebanji is the choice of the people.
