The Ekiti State Chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) says it is proud to celebrate a true Amazon, Erelu Bisi Fayemi, on her 60th birthday.
This is contained in a statement by the chairman of the council, Hon. Olusegun Famuyibo in Ado Ekiti
The statement describes Erelu Fayemi as a gender advocate, a social crusader and philanthropist who has used her influence and platform to champion causes for the betterment of society.
It reads:”Erelu Bisi Fayemi’s life is a testament to the power of courage, resilience, and compassion. She has dedicated her time and resources to advocating for gender equality, promoting women’s rights, creating opportunities for young people, and fighting for social justice.
“Her relentless efforts have inspired many, especially young people and women, to take up the mantle of change and work towards creating a better future for all.
“As a role model and mentor, Erelu Fayemi has touched countless lives, not just in Ekiti State but across Nigeria and beyond. Her exemplary leadership, visionary thinking, and commitment to service have set a standard that many strive to emulate.
“We are proud to be associated with Erelu Bisi Fayemi and her unwavering dedication to the Nigerian youth, and we join the rest of the world in celebrating her remarkable life and achievements as she marks her diamond jubilee.
The Council prayed God to sustain her life to celebrate many more years in good health and abundance.
