Veteran journalist Olubunbi Ajibade donates books to IIJ, Ado Campus

A veteran journalist, Chief Olubunbi Ajibade has donated copies of his book, “Journalism at a Glance” to the International Institute of Journalism, Ado Ekiti Campus through the Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ, Ekiti State Council.

The books were handed over to the leadership of the union on Wednesday, during the monthly Congress held at the Union’s Secretariat, Oke Oriomi, Ado Ekiti.

Presenting the books, Chief Ajibade affirmed that the idea was part of his decision to contribute to academic knowledge in the school.

He noted that the book if well read would give students better knowledge about journalism and prepare them for the task ahead in the profession.

Receiving the books on behalf of the Union, the Vice President, NUJ, Zone B, Comrade Ronke Samo thanked the donour and promised that the book would be used judiciously.

Earlier, the Chairman, NUJ, Ekiti State Council, Comrade Kayode Babatuyi also appreciated the veteran journalist for the gesture and call for more support for the union.
