UPHOLD LESSONS OF EID-EL-KABIR, FALEGAN SENDS GOODWILL MESSAGE TO EKITI MUSLIMS

The Founder of Opeyemi David Falegan Foundation, Hon. Opeyemi David Falegan has sent his goodwill messages to the Muslim community on the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

Falegan who felicitated the Muslim faithful in a statement signed by his media aide Comrade Adewumi Francis, called on Nigerians to embrace peace and have faith in the God.

The Founder urged Muslims to use the occasion to reflect on the state of the nation and live in peace with one another.

He urged the Muslims to emulate the righteousness and virtues of Prophet Muhammad, adding that the essence of the celebration was to offer sacrifice and express and extend love to one another.

“Love is central for God’s mercies and blessings to flourish. Let us learn to love and accommodate one another.

“I urge you not to lose hope in the Allah, irrespective of the security and economic challenges in the country,” he said.

ODF encouraged Muslims to continue to preach peace and unity as required for the country’s growth

“The season is another opportunity to pray in a special way, as the country is passing through severe challenges and needs divine intervention to overcome,” he said.

The one of foremost Philanthropist in Ekiti urged Nigerians not to give up on the country but renew their zeal in working toward building a new and more productive nation for all.

“We have no other nation but Nigeria, and we must not let it collapse. Let us now break the barriers of religion that divide us, and unite to take back our nation for progress and development,” he said.
