…hold quarterly meeting in Ado-Ekiti
The Association of Trade Union Veterans in Ekiti State has lauded the State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji for his steadfast dedication to the welfare of workers and pensioners in the State.
This was contained in a communique issued at the end of the association’s quarterly meeting in Ado-Ekiti signed by its Chairman, Sir Lawrence Egunjohi, Secretary, Comrade Segun Unaade and the Public Relations Officer, Comrade Folu Oni.
The association comprise retired past Labour Union Leaders, who served and retired from the Public Service in the State.
According to them, “the Governor’s prompt actions and consistency to ensure the timely payment of salaries, pensions and clearing of all outstanding gratuities is highly appreciated.
“These measures have greatly contributed to the financial security and well- being of the State’s workforce and retirees.
“Prayers for the Governor’s Success: The Association offers its sincere prayers for the success in all endeavours and we also pass vote of confidence in the Governor. It is our firm belief that the Governor’s continued leadership will further propel the State towards sustainable development and overall progress for the benefit of all citizens.
“Commitment to support: The Association reaffirms its unwavering support for the Governor’s administration and encourages all members to remain committed to the advancement of the State. We pledge our readiness to collaborate with the State Government in all initiatives aimed at enhancing the welfare of workers, pensioners and the general populace.”
