The leadership of the Medical and Health Workers Union, Federal Teaching Hospital, Ido Ekiti has appreciated the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC for the Ekiti North Senatorial seat, Hon. Cyril Fasuyi and the House of Representatives candidate for Ekiti North Federal Constituency 2 Hon. Akinlayo Kolawole for their support to the union.
Roundoffnews gathered that the two APC candidates had donated blocks and cements on separate occasions to the union for the building of her Secretariat in Ido Ekiti in addition to the donation of some stakeholders in the state.
Addressing Journalists in Ido-Ekiti, Chairman of the union,
Comrade Oje Oladele Oladeji said Hon. Fasuyi had earlier donated five thousand blocks while Hon. Kolawole donated two hundred bags of cement a situation the chairman described as overwhelming.
He appreciated the kind gestures of the candidates and prayed God to grant them their heart desires and victory at the poll come 2023 elections when he also appreciated some stakeholders who have reached out to the union.
According to him, the support would go a long way towards realization of the Union’s dream on the project, adding that the gesture will linger in the memories of members of the Union.
He promised a symbiotic relationship between the Union and the candidates, which will also earn them the support they desire for the attainment of their political positions in the coming months.
The chairman siad: “To the glory of God, and the benevolence of mankind our Union -Medical and Health Workers Union Federal Teaching Hospital Ido Ekiti, got the support of the Ekiti North Senatorial Candidate Mr Cyril Fasuyi and the Representative Candidate for Ekiti North Federal Constituency (II) Hon Akinlayo Davidson Kolawole on our ongoing secretariat project.
“The incoming Senator had earlier donated immensely to the development of the site, through the visit of his aide Hon Kester.
“Also, Hon Akinlayo Davidson through his Personal Assistant, Com. Bola paid a courtesy visit to the leadership of MHWUN FETH, Ido Ekiti branch and used the opportunity to inspect the level of work at our Union Secretariat site.
“Comr. Bola on behalf of Hon Akinlayo appreciated the leadership of our Union for being visionary towards the Union’s development. He extended the greetings of his Boss and announced the donation of two hundred (200) bags of Cement for the continuation of the MHWUN Secretariat project, which was delivered immediately on the site.
The chairman called on members of the union to be supportive with a promise to use his goodwills and connections to attract more support for the union.
