…..Salutes Oyebanji, Fayemi, others for sweeping all Senate, Rep seats for Ekiti APC
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Ekiti State, Hon. Adesola Gold Adedayo, has expressed confidence that the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu will rebrand and reshape the country’s image and economy for Nigeria to command respect from international community.
The former Senior Legislative Aide, said Tinubu’s presidency will solve the lingering crises of youth joblessness, economic deprivation , killings, banditry and kidnapping that are holding the country down and causing social unrest.
Adedayo saluted the Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji and his predecessor, Dr Kayode Fayemi and other leaders, whose goodwills facilitated the sweeping of all the three Senate and six House of Representatives seats in the state in the last Saturday’s poll.
The APC chieftain in his congratulatory message on Tinubu’s victory, on Friday, appealed to the youths not to allow desperate and misguided politicians to deceive them into violent protests that could plunge the nation into crisis.
Adedayo said Tinubu has a well articulated blueprint that will solve the perrenial unemployment that is creating anger in the youths via massive employment and empowerment to realise their potentials.
He described the former Lagos State governor as a visionary leader, who has respect for the youths, saying the incoming APC-led government would prioritise youth development to help the country’s future.
“I appeal to our youths not to be deluded by politicians with inordinate quests for power. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a visioner and someone who has penchant for empowering the youths and make them relevant in governance, politics and in the building of the economy.
“He did this successfully in Lagos State and he shall replicate again at the national level. The anger and angst in the town were caused by unemployment. Asiwaju as an experienced leader had articulated his blueprint to give a clear direction about empowerment for our youths.
“He had even promised to initiate education loan for students to rise through the cadre of education without financial crisis as obtainable in the advanced nations.
“With Asiwaju’s presidency, I am confident that this nation shall regain its economic strength and our youths shall laugh again and become proud of being Nigerians”, he stated.
Adedayo congratulated the nine Ekiti APC national assembly members-elect that were declared winners in the Saturday’s poll, saying the sweeping of all seats was made possible by the impressive performance of Governor Oyebanji and his predecessor, Dr. Fayemi.
“If you look at the outcome of the elections, the reelection of Senator Opeyemi Bamidele in Ekiti Central, election of Cyril Fasuyi in Ekiti North and Yemi Adaramodu in Ekiti South and the clearing of all the six House of Representatives seats attested to the acceptability of the current government to Ekiti people.
“I want to plead with the electorate to also in the same spirit vote for all the 26 APC House of Assembly candidates in the March 11 poll to motivate Governor Oyebanji to do more in the delivery of democracy dividends to the residents”, Adedayo advised.
